The Sacred Creativity Team

Kunti Trejo

Kunti is a medicine woman by heart and soul. She practices many modalities of healing while holding a sacred and special container. She has dedicated her life to the service and study of ancestral traditions of natural medicines and ways to heal from Mother Earth. Her specialty is holding different types of ceremonies, inspired by ancestral traditions and always adapting. Her work is focused on the world of medicines of the earth, the master plants, and the sacred animals like the amphibians, Kambo (phyllomedusa bicolor) and Bufo Alvarious. Kunti is also a talented artist, she paints, creates beautiful clothing, performs medicine songs, and more.

Watch Kunti discuss her work, Temazcal ceremonies, creativity and the path of a medicine woman, interviewed by Sébastien as the sun was setting over the Sacred Valley, a few minutes away from the retreat center.

Learn more about Kunti on The Universe Within podcast:

Kunti was also featured in “Stairway to Healing.”

Sébastien Fouillade

Sébastien learned meditation and yoga in 2011 from a student of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi as part of a 200-hour yoga certification course. During an intense yoga class, Sébastien had his first out-of-body experience. It lasted seconds but was enough to start his spiritual awakening. His yoga practice laid a strong foundation for his first ayahuasca ceremony in 2015. This ceremony helped him heal and reconnect with his creative self. Since then he’s continued his work with plant and fungi medicines, grown his musical side, and started participating more actively in ceremonies, first by sharing his music, then facilitating, and finally by leading ceremonies. Get to know Sébastien from the Leadershipedelics podcast, his Flute Friday videos, his book “Stairway to Healing: The Crooked Path We Travel”, or his personal site.

Shipibo Healer

Jose Franchini Vasquez

Jose has been working with the plant medicines Ayahuasca and Chacruna for over 13 years. He was taught by his uncle, the highly honored teacher Antonio Vasquez Galarreta, and he is the brother of Pepe Franchini Vasquez who was featured in the movie “The Last Shaman”. He is a husband, dad, teacher, and respected community leader. To learn more about Jose and his work, watch him in the following interview or listen to him on the Leadershipedelics podcast. We have been working with Jose for several years now and have been very impressed with his work. Being able to have him join us to lead Ayahuasca ceremonies is very special.

Accommodations

We are hosting the retreat at the Santuario area of the Munay Sonqo property. We have worked with Munay Sonqo for over 4 years, have organized many retreats there and continue to select them because of their high quality of service and accommodations.

The Santuario area is private and secluded, built with an attention and care and with fantastic views of the Sacred Valley.

This area is made up of a large Spanish style house style house Casablanca, a smaller house with pool called Casa Piscina, traditional adobe bungalows Casa Misky, a stunning Maloca, massage rooms, a temazcal (sweat lodge), cold plunge pool and fire pit all under the stars.

The two adobe bungalows are private suites with unique circular kitchens, private patios, lofts, private bathrooms.
These are the deluxe pricing options and there are only two of these.

The two large homes on the property provide a large private dining area for our group of guests as well as two living rooms spaces each with fireplaces, a kitchen and of course, the gardens and swimming pool to enjoy!

There are seven full bathrooms that are shared between guests providing more than adequate facilities.

Maloca walkthrough

The maloca is the sacred space in which we will hold most ceremonies. Its large sliding windows overlook the sacred valley, offering beautiful views during ceremonies day or night. The bathrooms are conveniently located in the back. The center of the maloca contains a “crystal cave” under glass which adds to the protective energy of the room.

Deluxe suite walkthrough

Sébastien conducted the following walkthrough when he visited the retreat center. This gives a good overview of what to expect with the deluxe suite. Two of these are available as an upgrade.

Applying

If you’d like to join our Spring 2025 retreat, fill out the application form following the link below.

When working with sacred medicine and the creative process, the energy of the group has a huge impact on each journeyer's experience. People need to be safe and feel safe in order to make the most of their experience. With the right group, retreats can lead to deeply transformative experiences and lifelong friendships. This is why we keep this retreat small and spend extra time to form the group of journeyers. We would rather have an even smaller group with people who can "connect" together and bring each other up, rather than do a larger group.

We ask each journeyer to fill out an application form and meet with a member of our team before booking anything. The application process is a way to approach this holistically and get to know each other. Be ready to spend 30-60 minutes to fill out the form. The information you provide is confidential and we are not collecting your email or other contact information in this form for privacy. In fact we will delete this information after the retreat has been completed. We also organize group calls before the retreat so that people can start getting to know each other prior to the actual retreat.

Once you’re done with the application, email us the nickname used in the application so that we can follow up with you (retreat@fooyad.com).
